Stephen Merchant, co-creator of The Office, has joined the cast of the upcoming third Wolverine film, EW has confirmed.

The comedian, who more recently starred in and created HBO’s Hello Ladies, will join Hugh Jackman for his last go-around as the iconic X-Men character.

David James Kelly is writing the script with James Mangold back in the director’s chair after helming 2013’s The Wolverine. Earlier this month EW reported that Narcos star Boyd Holbrook is joining the cast as the lead villain.

With Jackman hanging up his claws he wants to make sure that he goes out on the right note. “It matters too much to me,” he told EW last year. “I care too much about the character and the audience, and when you say it’s going to be our last one – I want to leave everything out on the table.”

The yet-to-be-titled film is set for a March 3, 2017 release.

Deadline first reported the news.
