The Leftovers is headed to the land down under.

EW has confirmed that the third and final season of the HBO drama about the aftermath of a Rapture-like event will be partially set in Australia, after picking up the threads of the Texas-set second season.

Based on the novel by Tom Perrotta, The Leftovers takes place in a world where 2 percent of the planet’s population has inexplicably vanished, leaving many of those who remain feeling confused and distraught. The ensemble cast includes Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, and Liv Tyler.

Season 1 was set in a fictional New York suburb, while season 2 moved the action to a miraculous Texas town (also fictional) where not a single person had disappeared.

No premiere date has been announced for the third season.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news.
