Blink-182 release new song Bored to Death
Blink-182 are back in business.
Nearly five years after the release of their most recent album, Neighborhoods, the pop-punk purveyors have released a lyric video for a new song, “Bored to Death.”
Marked by Travis Barker’s frantic drumming and Mark Hoppus’ nostalgic vocals (“It’s a long way back from 17,” he sings), the four-minute tune is the first taste of the band’s forthcoming record, California. The album was recorded with guitarist-singer Matt Skiba (of the Alkaline Trio) after longtime Blink member Tom DeLonge parted ways with the group last year.
California is due July 1. Check out the “Bored to Death” video above.
