PICK OF THE NIGHT
Turn: Washington’s Spies
AMC, 10 p.m.
If you’re looking for a gripping thriller about spies in wigs, The Americans is still your best bet — but the Americans on Turn are finally showing some fight as well. Fresh bloodshed, suspenseful scenes, and a new mission for Simcoe (Samuel Roukin) should be enough to keep you interested until Alexander Hamilton shows up later in the season to potentially turn this revolution into a revelation.
A CLASH OF QUEENS
The CW, 8 p.m.
Elizabeth drives Mary back to Scotland, and with Charles IX of France’s coronation approaching, Mary seeks a powerful suitor to align herself with. The more Roman numerals, the better! (Adelaide Kane spoke with EW about Mary’s difficult journey here.)
DINE AND PREJUDICE
TBS, 9 p.m.
Still trying to ride out their family-road-trip-gone-wrong, the Parkers stop for a bite to eat at a roadside restaurant and dinner theater called Conquistadors, which turns out to be a culturally insensitive, tasteless joint — in both senses of the word.
TWO TOMS ARE BETTER THAN ONE
The Late Late Show With James Corden
CBS, 12:37 a.m.
Thomas Middleditch of Silicon Valley and Tom Hiddleston of The Night Manager stop by, which means James Corden just needs to invite Tom Hardy, Tom Hanks, and Tom Cruise tonight to round out a Tom-themed boy band. What, were people not asking for one?
