Odd Mom Out season 2 trailer: Blythe Danner guest-stars
- Book
Jill Weber is going back to work this June. For the second season of Bravo’s scripted comedy Odd Mom Out, the fictionalized version of creator and star Jill Kargman is handing the mommy duties off to hubby Andy to pick up where she left off at her fashion magazine job.
If the season’s trailer is any indication, fans are also in store for a number of topical pop culture references, including nods to Bill Cosby and Hamilton (“It’s like Frozen for adults”). It also looks like Jill is going to try to mend fences with frenemy/sister-in-law Brooke (Abby Elliott), and the trailer offers a glimpse at Blythe Danner’s guest role as Jill’s mom. Alongside Danner, Drew Barrymore will also guest-star in the season, playing an irreverent neighbor stuck with Jill and Andy as they ride out a blizzard.

Odd Mom Out is one of Bravo’s two scripted series. It was picked up less than a year after Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, which the network just renewed for an additional three seasons. Along with Bravo’s recent pickup of a third scripted series, tentatively titled My So Called Wife, the typically reality-focused home to the Real Housewives franchise seems to be moving in a new direction.
Check out the season 2 trailer for Odd Mom Out below. The new season will premiere Monday, June 20 at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
