Created by Steve and Nancy Carell, the show about the deadpan adventures of a squad of LAPD detectives will dig into cases this season involving the murder of a sushi chef, druglording lifeguards, and, yes, the death of a boy band member who is decapitated by a T-shirt cannon.

TBS got creative with the launch of the show, unveiling the 10-episode first season as a 25-hour binge-a-thon beginning on Jan. 17 with a live “telethon.”
