From vampires to viral diseases, Julie Plec knows how to tell stories set in extreme situations. The Vampire Diaries and Originals showrunner just launched her latest CW show, Containment, which follows the citizens of Atlanta as they try to survive a deadly viral outbreak.

But when Plec stopped by EW Radio to talk about her new show, she revealed which vampire couple she thinks would survive Containment. Spoiler: One of them is a control freak.

Considering Caroline’s penchant for rule-following, Plec quickly chose her. As for her partner, she said, “Her current love, Stefan Salvatore, is a vampire, so he can’t actually get sick; so he’s probably better off than anybody.”
