The Glass Castle: Max Greenfield in talks to join Brie Larson in cast
- Movie
There might soon be more Schmidt on the big screen.
Max Greenfield is in talks to board Lionsgate’s adaptation of The Glass Castle, his rep confirms to EW. The movie already has Oscar winner Brie Larson, Woody Harrelson, and Naomi Watts attached.
The movie will be based on Jeannette Walls’ 2005 memoir of the same name that ruled The New York Times bestseller list. Walls recounted her rocky childhood that featured her family frequently moving, and Walls and her three siblings sticking together to care for each other.
Greenfield, the New Girl star, would play Jeannette’s (Larson) husband. Most recently, Greenfield co-starred in Hello, My Name is Doris with Sally Field and briefly appeared in The Big Short.
