The North American trek will now run through November

Bonnie Raitt’s supporting tour for Dig in Deep has been a hot ticket. After selling out much of her North American trek, the beloved blueswoman has added 14 new fall dates to the ongoing excursion.

The 66-year-old singer’s extended journey will now continue through November, stopping at southern hot spots like Memphis, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Austin. The first round of tickets go on sale April 29, with a second and third bout going up May 13 and May 20, respectively.

Raitt released Dig in Deep, her 20th album and largest original collection in almost two decades, on Feb. 26. “I had a decade of a lot of loss. I was depleted, but like when your car runs out of battery and your friend pushes you, I got a push,” Raitt told EW of the record in January. “My guitarist George Marinelli sent me the track, ‘If You Need Somebody,’ and I got the wheels going. I knew I was going to write something about dad [Raitt’s mother, father, and brother all died between 2004 and 2009], and it was going to be said, so I was glad to break that block.”

With opening support from The California Honeydrops, Raitt is joined on tour by her longtime band: James “Hutch” Hutchinson (bass), Ricky Fataar (drums), George Marinelli (guitar), and Mike Finnigan (keyboards).
