Kevin Bacon talks The Darkness horror film in behind-the-scenes video
In horror film The Darkness (out May 13), Kevin Bacon and Radha Mitchell are parents whose son — played by David Mazouz from Gotham — unleashes supernatural hell when he brings home a Native American artifact from a family vacation to the Grand Canyon.
The film’s co-writer and director Greg McLean (the Wolf Creek movies) says he was inspired by real events, or at least actual tales of unpleasantness. “I was reading about people that had taken objects from the Grand Canyon, and then bad luck started to unfold,” he explains.
