The breakup anthem is an early contender for song of the summer

If there’s anything that could make Little Mix more radio-friendly, it’s an assist from Sean Paul.

On Friday, the U.K.-based girl group released their latest worldwide single, a remix of Get Weird standout “Hair.” The track, a breakup anthem that encourages the listener to take their post-split destiny into their own hands, is a straight-up banger on its own; with a verse from Sean Paul, it’s an early contender for song of the summer to which EW granted an A- grade.

The original version of “Hair” was released back in August as a promotional single in the lead-up to Get Weird‘s November release, and a low-budget, fun-filled music video was made available for fans who pre-ordered the album. See it below.

“Hair” follows U.K.-only single “Secret Love Song” featuring Jason Derulo, “Love Me Like You,” and their U.S. breakout hit “Black Magic.”

Though the group — comprised of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall — have yet to announce a drop date for the music video tied to the remix, filming has wrapped and it should arrive soon.
