Charli XCX covers No Fun by The Stooges for HBO's Vinyl
- TV Show
Charli XCX is the latest to lend her music to HBO’s Vinyl. For the show’s soundtrack, released Friday, the pop phenom covered The Stooges’ “No Fun” from the legendary rock band’s 1969 self-titled debut.
Hinged on a record label in the ’70s, the Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese-created series has done well to highlight tunes from the era. Stooges frontman Iggy Pop also contributed to the project, as well as Elvis Costello, Sturgill Simpson, Trey Songz, and Dan Auerbach’s side project The Arcs.
