April 21, 2016 is the 200th anniversary of Charlotte Brontë’s birth, and even though nearly two centuries is a pretty long time to stay relevant, her masterpiece Jane Eyre, which follows an orphaned young woman who later becomes a governess, and eventually falls in love with the dark and mysterious Mr. Rochester, still feels as fresh as ever.
