Justin Bieber was just 7 years old when “U Got It Bad” topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 2001, and now the resident prince of pop has joined forces with the single’s original performer, Usher, for a surprise duet as part of the ongoing Purpose tour.

Usher took the stage with Bieber Wednesday evening during the tour’s Atlanta stop, performing “U Got It Bad” in addition to the R&B star’s “I Don’t Mind” and “U Don’t Have to Call.”

“Surprised ATL tonight with the fam @justinbieber on the #PurposeTour. Love you man!” Usher tweeted alongside a photo of himself wearing his infamous U chain, which he also wore in the “U Got It Bad” music video.

Akon also made an appearance at Atlanta’s Philips Arena, joining Bieber onstage for a rendition of his single “I Wanna Love You.”

“That was one of the best yet. Thank you to big bros @Usher and @Akon for coming out,” Bieber tweeted following the performances.
