Bridget Jones seems like she’d be endlessly entertaining on social media — if only she had the chance. Which is why we’ve imagined what her presence would be like on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, just in time for her latest milestone.

Upon the 15th anniversary of Bridget Jones’s Diary, take a look at how Bridget’s (Renee Zellweger) tragic spinsterdom, fling with the mischievous Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant), and romance with the sweet Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) might have unfolded online in the present day, rather than in her diary.

Continue on for a Facebook status about her resolutions, an Instagram post featuring her #OOTD (you know there had to be a shout-out to that bunny costume), and other candid, social media musings from Ms. Jones and company…

And who knows? Maybe she’ll have embraced the web by the time she returns to theaters in Bridget Jones’s Baby, out Sept. 16.

She’d be emotional.

She’d be open, very open.

She’d be self-aware.

She’d be smitten.

She’d be confident.

She’d be joked about.

Then she’d show those jokers.

She’d be the center of attention, for better or worse.

And, of course, she’d be in love.
