A serial killer takes on a crew of bank robbers in Mike Mendez's latest film
Henry Rollins plays a man whose trip to visit his safe deposit box goes horribly wrong — for other people — in The Last Heist, the new film from reliably entertaining director Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider!, Tales of Halloween).
“He’s a complete sociopath,” Rollins says of his character. “There’s a robbery going on in a building where he has a safe deposit box, and he ends up being the most dangerous person in the whole building. It’s pretty damned cool, actually. I just pick people off one by one, who aren’t snuffing each other out.”
You know what? That does sound pretty cool.
The Last Heist costars Torrance Coombs and Victoria Pratt. The film will premiere on June 17 in theaters, on VOD, and via iTunes. You can exclusively see the trailer for The Last Heist, above.
