Kanye West debuted a new track at a Philippines concert April 9, where he crooned lines, “I don’t want to be like what everyone else be like” and “being liked is nothing when you can be loved” with the help of Auto-Tune.

The song isn’t just about West though: He also repeats “God is love” mid-song, and states, “I’d rather follow God than to follow the media.” The lyrics reflect West’s tweets of late, including ones like, “All these journalists can give their opinions well these are mine…yes I believe in my ripped homeless sweaters!!!” and “please avoid trying to talk me out of being me in the future.”

The fan-shot video appeared on YouTube on the heels of news that West’s latest album, The Life of Pablo, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. During the show, West also defended the Pablo song “Famous,” in which he takes aim at Taylor Swift.

Below, watch West debut the tune, which the rapper follows with a snippet from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’s “Runaway.”
