Ariana Grande took the MTV Movie Awards stage to perform her recent single “Dangerous Woman,” off her forthcoming album by the same name.

Wearing a pink gown and diamond necklace a la Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, she didn’t bother with fancy pyrotechnics and dancers. Her pared down performance — featuring just her vocals and Jason Robert Brown on piano — was impressive all on its own. It was her first performance at the awards show and followed the release of her first visual for the tune.

Grande’s performance was introduced by Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner and followed Daisy Ridley picking up the golden popcorn.

Dangerous Woman is due out May 20.
