Spoiler Room: Blindspot, Outlander, The Originals, and more
Welcome to the Spoiler Room, a safe place for spoiler addicts to come on a weekly basis to learn what’s coming next on their favorite shows and, hopefully, get a few of their own questions answered. If you want scoop on a specific show, send your questions to spoilerroom@ew.com.
Do you have any spoilers for Blindspot? Anything on the Jane, Kurt, Oscar, and Allie love triangle? — Marie More
First off, it’s not exactly a triangle. But I digress, the love quadrilateral will only get more complicated before the end of the season. “The current relationship and the happiness between [Weller and Allie] could drive a wedge in the friendship between Kurt and Jane and that closeness that he has with her, because she’s someone that he lost a long time ago,” Sullivan Stapleton tells me. “That connection could be pushed or tested with other people.” In short, the actor adds, “Jealousy, it’s a bad thing.”
Any exciting news you can spill about Outlander’s upcoming second season? — Karen
If you’re a Frank fan, you’re going to enjoy the season premiere. Not only do we get to check in on Claire’s first husband, but we get to see how he handles some unexpected news about his long-missing wife.
Will Camille survive this season of The Originals? — Nik’s muse
While not directly answering your question — or maybe I am! — I can exclusively reveal that The Originals will feature not one, not two, but three major deaths between Friday’s episode and the end of the season. Get your tissues ready, OG fans!
Daisy saw the quinjet explosion on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. What does this mean? — Jess
Nothing good. The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., a.k.a. the writers, have provided the following tease: “Now that she has seen this, she has to live with the weight on her shoulders that there is a dangerous reality that could come at any time — and she can’t change this.”
Anything Elementary by chance? — Joshua
Joan is about to receive some pretty earth-shattering news during Sunday’s back-to-back new episodes. “Lin Song [Samantha Quan] brings plenty of baggage to Sherlock and Joan’s home in ‘All In’ — she’s been shot at and framed for an illegal poker game robbery with international ramifications,” teases executive producer Jason Tracey. “But the issue that will be trickiest to unpack is Lin’s claim to having a complicated romantic history with one of Joan’s ex boyfriends … Mycroft Holmes.” Oh, but there’s so much more!
Am I the only one totally loving Limitless?! — Kasper
You’re not alone! I’ve been a devoted viewer since the beginning, so I’m crossing my fingers on a season 2 renewal. In the meantime, here’s a tease for “Finale: Part One!”: “Brian is on the outs with the FBI, and he’s trying as his non-NZT self to still find out what happened to Piper,” EP Craig Sweeny teases. “He’s trying to investigate, it’s just not as fruitful as you might expect given he’s got no NZT.” Fortunately, he may find some in the least likely place that will help further his efforts. “Sands and his people, in what turns out to be a very elaborate ruse with a surprising outcome, release a supply of it out on the street in order to divert the resources of the FBI.”
Please give us something Steroline for The Vampire Diaries!!! — Mary
Despite the fact that Stefan and Valerie are now a couple — and Caroline is engaged to Alaric — Steroline is going to once again become a focal point very soon. Speaking about Stefan and Valerie, Paul Wesley told my co-hort Samantha Highfill, “I think that chapter has closed in a way, and I think that it’s going to be more about whether or not Caroline and Stefan have any love left there.”
Any Bones spoilers for B&B? — Sarah
Let’s see, the following tease could have to do with B&B, or it could have to do with someone else. You decide. “We’ll see some member of our cast singing, and doing a darn good job of it,” reveals executive producer Michael Peterson. FYI, the ditty goes down in episode 16.
I need more SVU scoop. Hit me! — Dre
While Carisi recently revealed that he took the Bar, “It takes months to get your results,” EP Warren Leight points out. But whether he passes is another question. “We can look to that sometime in May to find out about that,” Leight says.
Is there a Kara Danvers on Earth-1? Could we meet her on The Flash? — Timothy
Yes, but … “Any Kara that exists on Earth 1 would also have to have been an alien,” says EP Andrew Kreisberg. “It can’t just be Kara Danvers from Poughkeepsie.” Does that mean she could be a potential super (or maybe a power) girl on his Earth, too? “Sure, different costume, but sure,” Kreisberg adds.
Best news I’ve heard all week: It’s finally happening: Sookie is returning to Stars Hollow!
