Did Whitney Houston ever find the receipts? Did that Preparation H under-eye treatment work? Do we know? Do we really know? We might never find out the answers to those questions, but Bobby Brown, ex-husband of the late pop diva, is set to release a tell-all memoir, Every Little Step, which could point us in the right direction.
Brown’s Every Little Step will recount his early days as an up-and-coming R&B singer, who would later go on to sell millions of albums as part of the group New Edition throughout the early 1980s. Brown later left the grop to pursue a solo career, which produced a No. 1 single, “My Prerogative,” and earned the star a Grammy Award for his 1989 single “Every Little Step.”
Brown’s marriage to Houston, who died in 2012 as a result of accidental drowning, received received intense media coverage, fueled by speculation surrounding the couple’s supposed drug habits. The couple’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, died in July 2015 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub filled with water.
“Writing this book has been a therapeutic process for me. Getting it all out has allowed me to move on with my life,” the 47-year old told ABC News. Brown will be interviewed by the network’s Robin Roberts on a June 10 episode of 20/20.
Every Little Step will be released by Dey Street Books in June.
