The Tracy Morgan comeback continues. Nearly two years after the 30 Rock star survived a deadly car crash, he’s once again all over the comedy world. In addition to developing his FX comedy with Jordan Peele and hitting the road for his spring stand-up tour, EW has confirmed that Morgan is also in talks to join Dito Montiel’s The Clapper. The comedy already features Ed Helms as a man who appears in infomercials and gets dragged into a late-night talk show; Morgan would play Helms’ best friend, with Amanda Seyfried also set to co-star. Deadline was the first to report the news.

Morgan has worked with Montiel before, on the 2011 cop drama Son of No One. Filming on The Clapper is set to begin soon, with plans to work around Morgan’s busy schedule.
