Dark cabaret duo Dresden Dolls are back and reuniting for two shows in the U.S. late this summer. The group, comprised of Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione, will play their hometown Boston on August 26 and in New York City’s Coney Island on August 27. They announced the news in a post on Facebook and wrote, “SPREAD LOVE.”

The Dresden Dolls last reunited in 2015 when they played one show in honor of Record Store Day and the release of their compilation album, The Virginia Monologues. Before that, they had a few stateside shows in 2010 before heading to Mexico City and Australia in 2011.

Since they went on hiatus in 2008, Palmer has had an extensive solo career in recent years, and Viglione joined the Violent Femmes in 2013 as their drummer.
