Sean Penn is spreading his wings in a new film role. The Oscar winner is lending his voice to a character named Terence in the upcoming The Angry Birds Movie.

The film’s producer John Cohen shared a photo of Penn recording his role via Twitter Wednesday. Cohen reveals Penn’s character is named Terence, and the assortment of photos behind him in the snapshot seem to suggest Terence is a very large, red bird.

Penn is the latest in a number of recent celebrities to announce their involvement in The Angry Birds Movie. Earlier this week, Cohen revealed that Charli XCX is voicing a bird, and Demi Lovato announced that she’s recording a song for the film.

The Angry Birds Movie, based on the popular Angry Birds app, will star Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, and Danny McBride as three birds who go up against a group of green pigs.
