Star Wars: Daisy Ridley raps about making s'mores in the desert
Not only is Daisy Ridley a talented actress, but she’s got some rap skills, too.
Entertainment Tonight premiered a clip from the Target exclusive edition of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in which Ridley and John Boyega explain that with all the downtime they had on set, they decided to make up a few raps about their time in a galaxy far, far away.
“I’ve got a good eye for talent,” Boyega explains (while Ridley tries very hard not to laugh). “And Daisy was doing like a rap one day, and I said, you know what? I could make you a big star. So we decided to collaborate on a song together.”
In addition to Ridley’s rapping and Boyega’s beatboxing, the clip also includes plenty of shots of a massive on-set dance party, including J.J. Abrams, Admiral Ackbar, and Poe Dameron — who apparently proves that between The Force Awakens and Ex Machina, Oscar Isaac only knows one dance move.
The clip is part of the special features on the Target exclusive edition of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on DVD and Blu-Ray (out Tuesday). Learn more about the Force Awakens bonus features here.
