How far would you go to live the life you’ve always wanted?

That’s the predominant theme in an exclusive first trailer for Power’s third season, which sees Jamie “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) confidently proclaim, “Forget Ghost. I’m out of the game.”

But that might prove easier said then done: With a slew of enemies, including former right-hand man Tommy (Joseph Sikora), it’s clear that there’s a bounty on Ghost’s head.

And in keeping with previous seasons, it seems that there’s plenty of other drama ahead: Though Jamie and Angela (Lela Loren) seemed set for a happily ever after, it looks like their relationship will take a rocky turn, with Angela giving her adoring boyfriend a terse “I have helped you” in response to his request for assistance. It doesn’t look like smooth sailing when it comes to the matter of Jamie’s ex-wife Tasha (Naturi Naughton) either, who’s seen clutching her kids in a way that seems to signal that she’s really single and on her own.

Featuring appearances from cast members Andy Bean (Greg), Lucy Walters (Holly) and Jerry Ferrara (Joe), the trailer manages to pack in plenty of crime, drama, sex, lies and deceit — all ingredients that have led the Starz drama, produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, to become the most-watched on the network.

“I really want to blow people’s minds,” says showrunner Courtney Kemp of the season ahead. “I really want to pump more octane in to season 3. More things will happen and there’s more stimuli. It’s not that you can’t have quiet moments, but I want people to have this adrenaline-fueled experience at home.

“We have that in movies all the time, but I want to reach in and make you have a reaction.”
