Lip Sync Battle may be its own self-sustaining franchise now, but every once in awhile, the format will pop up on its old home, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Such was the case on Monday, when Jimmy Fallon engaged guest Melissa McCarthy in a two-round Lip Sync Battle for the ages.

Things started slowly, with Fallon lip-syncing to Melanie’s “Brand New Key.” For full effect, the host even pantomimed roller-skating around the stage. McCarthy responded with an emphatic lip-sync of DMX’s “X Gon’ Give It to Ya,” but they were both just warming up.

Fallon went a step farther for his second song, a version of Zayn’s “Pillowtalk” complete with an actual pillow. Nothing beat McCarthy’s finale, however. The actress mimed along to Pocahontas‘ “Colors of the Wind,” with help from a deluge of props. As Pocahontas’ voice sang about the wonders of the natural world, McCarthy held aloft stuffed birds, got sprayed with water, had leaves blow around her, got hit with a plush wolf, and finally was blasted with a bunch of glitter. She was the clear winner.
