Over the course of his Saturday Night Live hosting stint, Peter Dinklage played Tyrion Lannister, Winnie the Pooh, and himself, but perhaps his most memorable (and intergalactic) character was Jonathan Comets, the space-obsessed lounge singer with stellar fashion sense.

What started as a restaurant confrontation between mafia men quickly devolves into a delightfully bizarre performance by Jonathan Comets, and as the mob members try to strike a deal, they become increasingly distracted by Dinklage, who dons a blonde wig and takes the stage to perform an ‘80s-esque dance track titled “Space Pants.”

“Look at my pants with the eyes in your face,” Dinklage sings/shouts. “My legs are covered in outer space.”

Dinklage’s performance included plenty of robot dance moves and a cameo from Gwen Stefani, wearing — what else — space shorts.
