Guns N' Roses announce summer tour dates
- Music
After teasing a summer tour last week, the reformed Guns N’ Roses have confirmed 20 headlining concerts throughout North America. The Not In This Lifetime Tour kicks off June 23 in Detroit and wraps August 22 in San Diego.
Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan hinted at the tour on March 25 when he tweeted a list of 21 cities with the text “Coming Summer 2016.” However, the list of tour dates announced Friday does not include a St. Louis concert.
The hard-rock band also announced earlier today — with an obligatory “April Fools’?” comment — that they will perform tonight at Los Angeles’ Troubadour. The gig marks the first of the group’s reunion tour, which will also hit Las Vegas, Coachella, and Mexico City in April.
Pre-sale tickets for the shows go on sale April 4, while tickets for the general public become available April 8. See their upcoming concert schedule below.
