Survivor: Kaoh Rong suffers yet another medical evacuation
[SPOILER ALERT: Read on only if you have already watched Wednesday’s episode of Survivor: Kaôh Rōng.]
Sometimes people collapse and lose consciousness after a grueling physical challenge in 118-degree heat. Other times they get a cut on their knee. But in terms of continuing on in the game in the hopes of procuring a million dollars, the end result is the same.
Ice cream entrepreneur Neal Gottlieb was pulled from the game at the end of tonight’s episode of Survivor: Kaôh Rōng — even though he proclaimed he “felt fine” — after a cut on is knee got infected and threatened to get into his joint where it could deliver permanent damage. Neal tried to argue his way into staying, predicting that “I truly believe this will be fine in a few days,” but host Jeff Probst was having none of it. “I believe that you believe that,” replied the host.
A tearful Neal then had to say goodbye to his tribe, shocking his alliance partner Aubry in the process by not handing over his hidden immunity idol on his way out. It was another blow for the former Brain tribe members, who also appear to be down in numbers on the newly merged tribe, with the Beauty folks joining up with the remaining Brawns to form a nightmare high school clique/alliance.
