It’s only been a week since Harlan Coben published his thriller Fool Me Once, and Julia Roberts is already bringing it to the big screen.
Roberts has signed on to star in and produce the film adaptation of Coben’s just-published novel, playing a former special ops pilot named Maya who “sees an unthinkable image captured by her nanny cam while she is at work: her 2-year-old daughter playing with Maya’s husband, Joe — who had been brutally murdered two weeks earlier.”
Roberts is producing alongside her Red Om Films partners Lisa Gillan and Marisa Yeres Gill.
