Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready celebrated his 50th birthday in rock and roll fashion with a star-studded show at Seattle’s Neptune Theater on Friday.
Guests included Kim Thayil of Soundgarden, and Screaming Trees and Walking Papers drummer Barrett Martin. But the main event came when Cheap Trick performed for the crowd. Footage from the night shows McCready and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder hopping up on stage to sing “I Want You To Want Me” with the band, who are about to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
