Following the release of their Ty Dolla $ign collaboration, “Work From Home,” Fifth Harmony released another new song, “The Life,” from their forthcoming album 7/27.

The summer banger sees the ladies, who formed in 2012 as part of Simon Cowell’s reality competition series, The X Factor USA, singing over upbeat, danceable production, with a tropically-tinged drop building to a purely-pop chorus.

Since announcing the album title earlier this year, Fifth Harmony have kept details on 7/27 tightly under wraps. Band member Camila Cabello recently spoke to EW about the album, saying, “I think on the Reflection album, and since we got off of X-Factor, we tried to establish what the sound was for Fifth Harmony. What best represented us. With our first album, you heard the 808 urban-leaning drums as a skeleton in some of the songs, like ‘Boss’ and ‘Worth It.’ You can hear that now in ‘Work From Home,’ and you’re gonna be hearing an expansion of that.” The group’s Normani Kordei added: “We’ve had a lot more creative say…[7/27] is more personal than [Reflection].”

7/27 is out May 20. Listen to “The Life” in full below.
