What happens when fake news become real news? Such is the question posed by the new trailer for Special Correspondents, Ricky Gervais’ upcoming Netflix movie.

The film follows radio journalist Frank (Eric Bana) and his chief sound engineer Finch (Gervais) pretending to report on a conflict in Ecuador while remaining in the safety of a New York office. When these correspondents are nowhere to be found in the South American country, it sparks a national panic. To maintain the ruse, Frank and Finch are forced to travel to Ecuador, where they find themselves face-to-face with armed militants. The two are protected only by bulletproof vests because, as Finch is told, there’s no such thing as bulletproof pants.

Special Correspondents debuts on Netflix April 29. Watch the trailer below.
