As the only human in sight, Mowgli sticks out amongst a pack of wolves, and Shere Khan is not pleased to have a “man cub” in his midst in a new clip from The Jungle Book.

The newest glimpse at the Jon Favreau-directed film sees Shere Khan (voiced by Idris Elba) admonishing Akela (Giancarlo Esposito) and his wolf pack for bringing a human into their midst.

Khan has suffered at the hands of humans and so he refuses to allow man, cub or fully grown, into his domain, even as Akela defends the boy’s presence.
