With days to go before their historic concert in Havana, the Rolling Stones sent a video message to their Cuban fans — in Spanish, no less.

Beginning with a hearty “¡Hola, Cuba!” the endearing (if not quite expertly pronounced) message continues, “We are so excited to be coming to play for you. We’ve performed in many incredible places, but this concert in Havana is going to be a historic event for us. We hope it will be for you too. Thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful country.”

Los Stones announced the free show earlier this month, touting it as “the first open-air concert in the country by a British rock band.” The original plan was to perform March 20, but they were pre-empted by a gentleman named Barack Obama.
