When it comes to Batman vs. Jason Bourne, Ben Affleck has thrown the second punch. Responding to comments from his buddy Matt Damon regarding who would win in a fight, the newly minted Bruce Wayne has some words of his own.

Jason Bourne would kick the s–t out of Batman — absolutely,” Damon said back in September. “Batman’s gotta take on Superman first. If he could beat him then maybe he could take on Jason Bourne.”

E! News caught up with Affleck to get his take on the hypothetical match-up, and he wholeheartedly disagrees.

“Matt is going around saying this all over the place but not to my face,” he said. “But Matt can’t even beat me up, never mind Batman. You know what I’m saying? He has a long way to go…They’re just finishing the Bourne movie now when we have our premiere over in London. I’ll see Matt and he can take me up on it.”

Affleck will show his stuff as the Dark Knight when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, while Damon will return for Jason Bourne on July 29.
