Sony is looking to give players everything they need to dive into the world of virtual reality when it releases its VR headset later this year, and a newly announced launch bundle should help players prepare for the new way to play.

Sony has announced the PlayStation VR launch bundle, which incudes all of the core elements of the VR headset (the necessary cables to play, a pair of streo headphones, a VR demo disc, and the headset itself), as well as a PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move motion controllers, and the PlayStation Worlds game collection. Worlds includes five virtual reality experiences in one package, a trailer for which can be viewed below, which highlight the VR functionality.

The bundle costs $499.99, and will be available for pre-order in limited quantity beginning on March 22 at 10 a.m. ET. (It will cost $699.99 CAD.) Sony promises that those who miss out on bundle will have other opportunities in the summer when new waves of pre-orders are made available. For those already in position of Move controllers, which were first made available for the PlayStation 3, or the Camera, the core VR bundle, which will cost $399, is currently not available for pre-order.

The bundle is designed to make sure players have everything they need in VR (certain games take advantage of Move controllers while Sony has confirmed the Camera will be necessary to play). Sony announced at the Game Developers Conference that the VR headset will launch sometime in October, with 50 experiences planned to release for it between launch and the end of the year. Take a look at the experiences of Worlds below.
