Tonys 2016: Andrew Rannells and Patina Miller to announce nominations
Live, from New York, it’s a Tuesday morning!
Broadway stars Andrew Rannells and Patina Miller have been tapped to announce the nominations for this year’s 70th annual Tony Awards, live from the Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel on May 3. The announcement will be broadcast at 8:30 a.m. ET on CBS and at TonyAwards.com. Last year’s nominations were announced by Mary-Louise Parker and Bruce Willis.
Rannells and Miller are both veterans of the Broadway stage but have recently been making appearances on your DVR: Rannells just booted up an exciting new arc in his recurring role as Elijah on HBO’s Girls, while Miller remains an indomitable force as press guru Daisy on CBS’s Madam Secretary.
