Asking co-workers to watch March Madness when they don’t know what it is can be an awkward enough exchange but as a cut Saturday Night Live sketch proves, follow-up questions can make things much more uncomfortable.

In a sketch cut for time from the Ariana Grande-hosted SNL, the “Dangerous Woman” singer approaches her co-workers, played by Beck Bennett and Kyle Mooney, to invite them over to watch a March Madness game. Not only do the two assume the event is centered around a literal mad march, but their follow-up questions as they learn what’s actually involved only become more confusing … and worrying.

Watch the sketch above to find out whether Bennett and Mooney ever learn what a March Madness party actually involves.
