PlayStation’s virtual reality headset finally has a price point and a release window.

Sony’s Andrew House announced during a press conference at the Game Developers Conference that the PlayStation VR headset for the PlayStation 4 will be available for $399 and be available in October. No precise launch date was announced, but Sony promises more details about upcoming games and the hardware in the coming months.

Additionally, House revealed that more than 230 developers are working on projects for the virtual reality headset. House said around 50 games are expected to release between launch and the end of the year for the headset.

Other notable VR headsets launching this year are the Oculus Rift, which is set to begin shipping later this month, as well as the HTC Vive VR headset.

Sony has also revealed an official look at what comes as part of the final retail PlayStation VR package — unfortunately no PlayStation Move controllers appear to be included, but the headset, wires, and more are viewable below.
