The penultimate story in “History of Magic in North America” established dark climate in the wizarding New World, and the last tale in the series — “1920s Wizarding America,” which is now live over at Pottermore — explores how things stand heading into the events of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

In addition to chronicling the American equivalent of Mr. Ollivander — Wolfe, Jonker, Quintana, and Beauvais — “1920s Wizarding America” will reveal the role that magical people played in the World War I, an area of fictional history that Rowling has yet to touch.

You can also learn about the head of the Magical Congress of the United States of America, Madam President Seraphina Picquery, who will appear in the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
