The president is coming to the Nine-Nine. And he’s a lot like Holt.

Dennis Haysbert, who starred as President Palmer on 24, will guest-star in multiple episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, EW has learned exclusively.

Haysbert plays FBI Special Agent Bob Anderson, who is an old colleague of Captain Holt’s. Bob is described as being like Holt (Andre Braugher) in every single way, other than that he has “a slightly less sparkly personality.”

His first appearance comes in the second-to-last episode of the season, which airs April 12, and then he will return in the finale on April 19. And he’s no stranger to playing an FBI special agent: In fact, he did it last month on The Grinder, giving Mitch Grinder (Rob Lowe) a new identity.

The face of Allstate Insurance can be seen on the big screen later this year in the Ice Cube-Charlie Day comedy Fist Fight.

Brooklyn‘s season 3 guest roster has included Bill Hader, Archie Panjabi, Craig Robinson, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kathryn Hahn, Damon Wayans, Jr., and Jason Mantzoukas.
