The worlds of tech, film, and music are set to collide in the coming weeks as SXSW once again descends on Austin, Texas. Entertainment Weekly will have you covered for all of the news coming out of the festival, and we’re also helping out with some very cool events, including a major first for Chris Hardwick and the folks from @midnight

Comedy Central’s social media-minded panel show will broadcast its first ever Periscope episode live from SXSW on March 11– the first night of the interactive Festival — at 9 p.m. CST. The show is open to anyone with a SXSW badge. Doors open at The Parish (214 E 6th St) at 8 p.m.

People who aren’t lucky enough to attend can still watch the show live exclusively through the Periscope app.

The special SXSW edition of @midnight will feature some regulars to the show. Doug Benson, Arden Myrin, and Chris Cubas will all appear on the Periscope-only episode.
