Ten seasons in, fans of The Voice understand exactly where each coach falls musically. Blake Shelton‘s the country guy, Christina Aguilera’s the pop star with the big voice, Adam Levine’s the resident rocker, and Pharrell Williams dominates when it comes to producing chart toppers for himself and others. But when the coaches switch things up and tackle each other’s music, the results include Shelton saying “bae” with his Oklahoma twang, and Aguilera incomprehensibly putting on a British accent to go country.

In an exclusive video, the season 10 judges swap songs for a dramatic reading of each others’ hits, which proves somewhat challening for all four. “Wait, that’s a typo,” Aguilera says while trying to decipher the lyrics of Shelton’s “Hillbilly Bone.” “Maybe it’s not. Maybe you can’t do it in a British accent.”

Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani’s beau tackles Williams’ “Come Get It Bae,” Williams takes on Levine’s “Payphone,” and the Maroon 5 frontman goes for Aguilera’s “Genie in a Bottle.”

You’d think nothing would make Levine — who sports a blond ‘do in the clip — blush after having posed nude for Cosmopolitan U.K. in 2011, but when it comes to the hit ’90s pop song, he can’t keep a straight face as while reciting the line “I’m a genie in a bottle / You gotta rub me the right way.”

See how the rest of the season 10 coaches fare in the video above.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
