The third of four new stories from J.K. Rowling in her History of Magic in North America series is now live over at Pottermore

“Rappaport’s Law” tells an 18th-century tale about the strict laws that came to rule over wizard and No-Maj relations, after a breach in secrecy embarrasses the Magic Congress of the United States of America, our Ministry of Magic.

Rowling teased tensions between magical and non-magical people in her previous story, “Seventeenth Century and Beyond.”
