The Scarlet Speedster and Maiden of Might are joining forces in an upcoming episode of Supergirl.

How exactly will The Flash-Supergirl crossover work? A newly released logline reveals how Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) ends up in National City alongside Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist). “Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home.”

Check out a first look at Supergirl and The Flash in action in the mock comic book cover, modeled after Superman Issue 199, in which The Flash takes on the Man of Steel. During the crossover, Barry and Kara will also put their powers to the test. “We do have a footrace, which is one of my favorite moments in this episode,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg tells EW. “It’s close.”
