Gary Busey is among those who have been sucked up into the Sharknado for the Syfy movie series’ fourth outing.

Syfy and The Asylum announced Wednesday that Busey has been cast in Sharknado 4 as Wilford Wexler, the father of Tara Reid’s April, an Astro-X scientist who is “at the forefront of advances in the field of robotics.” Presumably he’ll appear to craft a robotic, flying shark to take on its living counterparts.

Ian Ziering is set to return as Fin Shepard in the film, as will Reid in her starring role as April. Her fate will be revealed in the film following the fan vote to decide whether April lives or dies in the upcoming sequel, with her fate hanging in the balance at the end of the third film, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!

Tommy Davidson (Black Dynamite), Imani Hakim (Everybody Hates Chris), Cody Linley (Hannah Montana), Masiela Lusha (George Lopez), and model and fashion designer Cheryl Tiegs will also appear in the fourth film, the title of which is subject to change.

Syfy promises more cameos will be announced in the future ahead of the film’s premiere on the channel in July. Director Anthony C. Ferrante and screenwriter Thunder Levin return for the fourth film.
