Things are heating up on the second episode of SundanceTV’s crime drama Hap and Leonard, which premieres Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET. And we’re not just talking about the show’s East Texas setting.
Adapted from Joe R. Lansdale’s 1990 novel, the show stars James Purefoy and Michael Kenneth Williams as the titular, trouble-attracting buddies, Christina Hendricks as Hap’s femme fatale of an ex-wife, Trudy, who convinces the pair to help locate some stolen cash, and Bill Sage as a fellow fortune hunter who also happens to be another of Trudy’s paramours.
