In an episode of SNL full of jabs at the presidential race, Jason Sudeikis reprised his Mitt Romney impersonation for Saturday’s cold open. “That’s right, America. I’m back,” he said. “You didn’t ask for it, but you got it!”

Sudeikis’ cameo poked fun at the real Romney’s recent denouncement of Donald Trump. “We at the GOP, the party of the great Ronald Reagan, we do not say racist or sexist things,” he said in part. “We imply them subtly over decades and decades of policy, so I felt that I had to take matters into my own tanned, well-manicured hands.”

The cold open also featured appearances from Beck Bennet as CNN’s Jake Tapper, Darrell Hammond as Trump, Bobby Moynihan as the “sad, desperate, little potato” Chris Christie, Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton, and Taran Killam as Ted Cruz.
