Nancy Reagan dead: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Trump, more pay tribute
Celebrities, politicians, and presidential candidates are all paying tribute to Nancy Reagan, after the former first lady and wife of Ronald Reagan died Sunday at the age of 94.
“Nancy Reagan was one of my heroes,” Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote on Twitter. “She served as First Lady with unbelievable power, class and grace and left her mark on the world. She’s with her Ronnie now, but those of us she left behind will miss her dearly.”
Remembering her encounter with Reagan, Elizabeth Banks wrote, “I sat near #Nancy Reagan once and felt like a teenager seeing one of my idols. She was a BOSS.” Meanwhile, Stamos remarked that The Beach Boys, for whom Nancy considered herself a mega-fan, “will dedicate ‘Their Hearts Were Full of Spring’ tonight in loving memory of Nancy Reagan.”
